Guest Speaker Art Workshop With Eva’s Print Shop

Eva’s is a Toronto-based charitable organization that provides support to youth who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. They believe in anti-racism, youth empowerment, and social justice, inspired by their founder Eva Smith. The charity also runs Eva’s Print Shop, a profit-for-purpose printshop for businesses that also offers training and employment opportunities in graphic design and communication.

I had the opportunity to work with Eva’s Print Shop for a guest speaker and art workshop presentation, where I shared my story about adversity, art accessibility, and mental health resources.

Featured Artist in Ode to Death review issue 2: Echoes of Existence

Ode to Death is a digital youth magazine that publishes writing and art submissions of young creatives world wide, sharing beauty in the ordinary. Inspired by the resilience of koi fish in Japanese culture, they encourage expression without boundaries. They also believe that death is not an end, but rather something that connects us to our selves, our creations, and each other. I am grateful to have one of my illustrations, Going Outside to Touch Grass, published in July 2025.

Featured Artist in Shadow and Sax Magazine

Shadow and Sax is an independent literary arts magazine for artists and writers that focuses on unfiltered and authentic art. Submissions are looked at on a rolling basis without any prompts or themes. Shadow and Sax offers space for honest and personal pieces, and I have had the honour of working with them, with 5 of my illustrated pieces being published in June 2025.

Dark Art movement & Macabre Gallery

Dark Art Movement is an international non-profit organization that supports and promotes artists who create dark art in different forms. They aim to solidify dark art as an art movement and are doing so by allowing access for their members to build community, learn and share news, and have their artworks featured in showcases, social media, and galleries. As of April 2025 I have become an official artist member.

Featured Artist in Your Body, My Rage

Your Body, My Rage: A Charity Feminine Rage Horror Anthology was published in January 2025. The book featured stories and artwork from marginalized creators sharing a common theme of expressions of feminine anger through different genres of horror.

Note: The publishing house has discontinued operations as of March 2025. I want to be honest and transparent: although my values do not align with the actions of the publishers, I have chosen to show my illustration and accompanying text that was featured in the book. After much thought, I have decided that I believe this is still a part of my creative journey, and that my art deserves to stand on its own.
