Illustrations reflecting the horrors we live with.

“Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable” - Cesar A. Cruz

These illustrations and writings were traditionally made with dollar store ballpoint pen, acrylic, ink wash, and graphite, then edited to heighten the contrast and scratchiness. Behind every artwork is an emotionally raw story, observing and reflecting on the horrors we live with.
